Raccoons in The Yard

Are Raccoons Digging Up  Your Lawn or Garden?

Raccoons love grass or sod. Hungry raccoons are eating the fresh worms and grubs under your lawn. Raccoon rolling up sod is probably one of the most common calls I deal with. Other wildlife such as opossums and skunks do similar but do less damage to your yard then a raccoon would do. If your lawn looks like the photos above, more than likely, it’s raccoons. Urban Wildlife Trapping Experts can help you remove the raccoon rolling up or tearing up your grass. We will come out to your home or business place and help you take control over your property. How to catch a raccoon digging in your yard. Step 1 – Set up sturdy raccoon traps. Step 2 – Capture the Raccoons. Step 3 – Remove the captured raccoon(s). Step 4 – Repeat Raccoon Trapping Process.

Raccoon Feces Removal

Are You Looking To Have Your Attic Cleaned-Out and Free Of Raccoon Feces?

(We offer Full Attic Restoration Services)

Raccoons Feces within the structure of your home or building can be scary for most property owners. We can help you fully restore your attic and remove raccoon poop for your attic. Raccoon pooping on the roof, in the attic, or in crawl spaces can be a health hazard. Especially when the raccoons are pooping on or around your central air system. CAUTION: Blowing raccoon feces diseases through your A/C unit or heating unit can be harmful to you or your family. We can clean out raccoon feces and install new attic insulation at your property.

REMOVAL TIPS AND SOLUTION:

Here is a process for attic restoration. Step 1 - Get Rid of Raccoons in the attic and crawlspace, if any are present (Trapping Raccoon) Step 2 - Seal up all openings. This will keep another pest from re-entering your attic, crawlspace or walls and causing more damage. Step 3 - Remove raccoon feces, nesting, damaged insulation, etc. Step 4 - Attic fogging with a disinfectant agent in all contaminated areas of your property is the key step for a healthy attic or crawlspace.  Fogging will help get rid of oils, grease, and urine that has dried out from the raccoons. These are pheromones that attract other animals or raccoons if left behind.

The attic is fogged with mist machine, which dispenses the special enzyme-based biohazard cleaner.  This is a special cleaner that destroys organic matter specifically, without affecting the structure. It kills the pathogens and breaks down urine, grease, and animal poop, effectively “digesting” it with time.  It renders the waste inert, and importantly, eliminates the pheromone odor left behind by the animals.  It’s very important to get rid of the animal odor because the scent of animals living in an area can attract new animals of the same kind or even predator animals.

Family Of Raccoons In The Attic

8 out of 10 times there will be a Female Raccoons with babies in the attic, this is a very complex case. It involves an adult female raccoon and a litter of baby raccoons. The nest of baby raccoons must be located and removed before trapping the mother.

REMOVAL TIPS AND SOLUTION:

How to remove a female raccoon with her litter from the attic: Step 1 - inspect the roof and locate all entryways leading into your attic. Step 2 - Seal every hole, except for the main entryway that the female raccoon is using. Step 3 - Search the attic carefully, find and remove the litter of baby raccoons by hand, then place them in a padded box. Step 4 - Use a trap divider and place the live babies as "bait" to capture the female raccoon in the trap. Step 5 - then remove the whole family of raccoons all at once. Step 6 - Repair the main entryway and fix other damages in the attic. Step 7 - Clean the attic, getting rid of all feces, and spray with biohazard enzyme cleaner.

Dead Raccoon Removal

Do you have dead raccoons?

Having a dead raccoon in your attic or crawlspace, sometimes even die in your walls can be a smelly situation. Dead raccoon smell in the house can attract all types of insects and diseases, not to mention other nuisance animals which hope to feed on the carcass. Of course, the smell or sight is also offensive. If a raccoon has died on your property and you do not wish to dispose of it yourself due to health concerns or other reasons, we can and will remove it for you. If the dead raccoon is within the structure of your home or office, we can find its location and remove the dead raccoon. This may involve some demolition, for example, cutting the drywall of a ceiling or wall in which a dead rodent is located. (Repairs are estimated before demolition and extra cost for repairs)

REMOVAL TIPS AND SOLUTION:

How to remove a dead raccoon: Step 1 - Sniff out and locate dead raccoon (sometimes this requires you to cut into the drywall) Step 2 - Remove the dead raccoon by hand, placing it in a heavy duty trash bag. Step 3 - Apply a special odor digesting enzyme to the affected area that helps control and remove the odor.
